Location: Egypt (Remote is possible)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other stakeholders in the company to find the most pressing issues to be solved through data
• Research novel solutions to such issues and present these solutions to the team
• Use any technique feasible to solve the problems at hand, including, but not limited to, Machine Learning, Graph Algorithms and Anomaly Detection
• Own the solution from inception to production code
• Conduct Ad-hoc analysis as required to answer business questions
• Create dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field – computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, etc.
• 2+ years of professional experience working in data teams, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Actuarial Science or other relevant fields
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Scala
• Strong theoretical or practical experience in Machine Learning, Statistical Models or Anomaly Detection algorithms
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms complexity and performance considerations at scale
• Preferred experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau

Preferred experience with Cloud infrastructure, Big Data Infrastructure and Data Pipelines
